Job description
NepEve Care Services is looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to a female participant in Mount Druitt. This role involves home care, personal care, and community engagement while helping the participant stay active, social, and engaged in daily life.
We are looking for someone warm, patient, energetic, and able to build a positive connection with the participant and her family. A Tagalog-speaking support worker would be highly valued to help with communication and cultural connection.
Tasks and responsibilities
Assisting with personal care including hygiene, showering, dressing, and toileting support
Providing support around the home and helping maintain a safe, comfortable environment
Encouraging social engagement and meaningful daily activities
Supporting community access and outings based on the participant’s interests and goals
Building a positive and respectful relationship with the participant and family
Monitoring wellbeing and responding calmly to changing situations
Following care plans and maintaining professional communication with the care team
