Job description
NepEve Care Services is seeking a compassionate Team Leader to oversee supports for a female participant in Mount Druitt while leading and mentoring a small team of Support Workers.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll continue to provide direct participant support while coordinating staff, managing rosters, supporting day-to-day service delivery and ensuring high-quality, person-centred care. You'll work closely with the participant, her family and the support team to maintain consistency, respond to changing needs and ensure services are delivered safely and professionally.
A Tagalog-speaking Team Leader would be highly regarded to help strengthen communication and cultural connection with the participant and her family.
Nursing experience is preferred but not essential. Experience supporting people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) or dysphasia will be highly regarded.
Tasks and responsibilities
Provide direct one-on-one support, including personal care, home support and community access.
Lead, mentor and support a team of Support Workers delivering participant supports.
Coordinate and maintain staff rosters to ensure consistent, reliable service delivery.
Ensure services align with participant goals and care plans.
Manage incidents, complete incident reporting and follow organisational and NDIS requirements.
Provide coaching guidance to team members while promoting best practice.
Monitor participant wellbeing and respond proactively to changes in support needs.
Foster a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture.
