Job description

We’re looking for a reliable and caring Support Worker to assist a participant in Petrie across split shifts (4am–6am and 2pm–4pm). This role involves a mix of personal care, support at home, and getting out into the community.

There is also the opportunity to pick up additional shifts with other participants, making this a great role for someone looking to build more hours over time.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Supporting community access – appointments, social outings, activities

  • Providing support at home with daily routines and household tasks

  • Offering companionship and emotional support

  • Following support plans and supporting individual goals

  • Ensuring a safe and respectful environment at all times

  • Assisting with personal care as needed(showering, hygiene, toileting, dressing)
