Job description
We are looking for a reliable and friendly male Disability Support Worker to support a participant in Townsville with community access and everyday activities.
The participant has expressed a preference for a male support worker. This role offers long shifts of approximately 8–10 hours per day, with more than 30 hours per week available for someone with strong availability.
Tasks and responsibilities
Support the participant with community access and social activities
Provide transport to appointments and activities where required
Encourage independence, confidence and community participation
Build a consistent and positive working relationship
Follow the participant’s support plan and preferences
